P&A started its activities in a scenario of great changes. It was the beginning of the 90s, when the modernization and stability of the economy imposed the need for restructuring large companies in Brazil, facing them with great challenges.
From this window of opportunity, the idea of investing in the Insurance segment arose, in which specialization is fundamental. Since then, it has expanded its competencies to other important areas and, currently, in addition to the Insurance and Reinsurance sector, P&A has consolidated itself as a reference in other branches of activity, such as: Telecommunications, Banks, Public Service Concessionaires, Aeronautics, Transport , Industry, Commerce and Services.
The position achieved arises from the commitment to train lawyers with differentiated intellectual capacity and experience in the legal market. There is also a continuous effort to maintain an efficient personal and administrative structure, which allows the provision of legal services with all the agility that the dynamism of business demands.
In addition to having its own offices in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Vitória, Pellon & Associados is present in all states, covering the main counties in the country through correspondents who work under the direct guidance of the main Partners.

Currently with more than 100 lawyers distributed among our headquarters, we have extensive human and technological resources, which enables us to examine and meet any special demands for information, reports or due diligences. The creation of our ombudsman’s office also enabled greater integration with customers, considerably increasing their satisfaction with the results obtained. The sectors: administrative, financial, information technology, accounting, human resources, reimbursement, collections, library, archive and other administrative services, internal commissions and supervisions keep our teams in constant improvement. Our internal audit works comprehensively, creating and streamlining routines, making work more efficient and productive.

Information Technology
Dynamism and Efficiency
As Pellon & Associados carefully follows-up the latest progresses and changes within the fields of Information Technology, Infrastructure and Safety, it keeps an updated technology park. In view of the significant demand for services, the development of several projects for servers and storage allowed us to benefit from stable, safe and modern conditions, under the constant supervision of an efficient IT structure. There are solutions of backup for data and systems, of contingency plans for Office’s departments, of confidentiality monitoring, as well as of integration between offices through physical cables and VPNs. Several existing software, together with some other under development provide support to legal activities, in order to monitor performance, deadlines and intellectual production, as well as to display court precedents, doctrine, to draw up petitions and to interact with software from clients
Back-office structure
Supervision policy: The Office keeps a staff composed by Legal managers and Supervisors for each area of activity. The policy intends to assess and improve the quality of works performed by the staffs, ranging from mere administrative procedures to the preparation of pleadings. Thus, all the procedural strategy and any petitions from our attorneys are submitted to review and execution from a colleague, who comments them. In addition, supervision is intended to avoid bureaucratization of the Firm’s technical standards, to encourage the use of more agile and efficient routines, and to detect any need of training to the improvement of the work carried out by our attorneys, as supervisors are expected to constantly assess their performance.
